Voluntary Impact Northamptonshire

Voluntary Impact Northamptonshire works to improve the quality of life for all of Northamptonshire’s communities by supporting voluntary and community action across the county.

They aim to:

  • Deliver a wide range of services, including specialist support, advice and training, to over 2000 voluntary and community organisations and charities each year
  • Promote and support volunteering in the county
  • Help voluntary and community organisations and individuals contribute to Northamptonshire’s development and services

What does Voluntary Impact Northamptonshire do?

Voluntary Impact Northamptonshire provides a wide range of support and services to groups, helping those that are starting up, as well as organisations that are already established. They are committed to equal opportunities and to making their services relevant and accessible to smaller, community based groups.

In addition to support for groups, they support individuals, particularly volunteers, and offer regular drop-in surgeries at local venues in each district.

They have an intermediary role, supporting and facilitating joint working between voluntary and community groups and with statutory bodies; and helping to ensure that the interests and concerns of the Voluntary and Community Sector are properly represented.

Voluntary Impact Northamptonshire is a member of the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action (NAVCA)
